What began as an early 2020 BellCoHo study group to examine the City of Bellingham’s Climate Action Task Force Report (published 12/02/19) soon evolved into a focused effort, using the same lens, on what might be worth considering for our own backyard, such as conversions from gas to electric, as in cars and water heating.
BellCoHo Climate Action group took over the slot of the faded Eco Interest Group (whose informative 2017 Report is available on the “How do both I and my community live more lightly on the earth?” page of this website).
Currently we meet occasionally, under leadership of Lesley Rigg and Jaco ten Hove, with other active members Steve Hansen, Ed Simmers. See our 2023 Annual Report HERE.
